I was supposed to go to Michigan to visit my parents on Friday and of course we had a snow storm that stopped all flights in and out of anywhere. I was so bummed. I haven't seen them in 6 months and was looking forward to a mini vacay. When looking at Saturday flights, I was disgruntled to find out they jacked up the flight prices to and from Detroit by $400 bucks! Are you kidding me?! That can't be legal! It was them that canceled the flights (all in good judgement of course). I was just about to call it a bust when I was informed the same flight I was going to take on Friday was switched to Sunday, same time. Okay, sounds good, I can deal. I still had to come back on Tuesday as planned unless I wanted to take off work again and pay extra, so I just opted for the short but sweet visit (44.5 hours to be exact). Winter had to get in one last hurrah.

Very Sweet - Also a taste of how it could be if we were rich & famous - to visit any time, anywhere, no matter what the co$t - for just a few hours. Nice!
